Corporate Partners

Yale-New Haven is grateful to businesses that provide philanthropic support and partner with us to advance our commitment to innovation and excellence in patient care, teaching, research and service to our communities.

Representatives from Walgreens recently donated $60,000.00 to Smilow Cancer Hospital’s Closer to Free Fund through the Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act. Having participated as a sponsor of the Closer to Free Bike Ride for all 3 years, Walgreens knows the impact that these funds make to the lives of our patients first hand. Mark DeJongh, who rode 62 miles in the 2013 Bike Ride, worked with his administrative team to identify that Smilow Cancer Hospital was an approved organization through the Neighborhood Assistance Act and coordinated the contribution with the Development Office.
