Art Bra Check Pres_2 2013

Art Bra

The mission of ArtBra New Haven is to provide emotional and financial support to under-insured and uninsured breast-cancer patients in the Greater New Haven region. This is accomplished by involving and engaging the diverse artistic community of Greater New Haven in their annual auction of art bras and fine art pieces inspired by, and which speak to, the experience of breast cancer. The 2013 auction was held on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the Omni Hotel in New Haven and included an Afternoon Tea. All proceeds from the event benefited patients at the Breast Center at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven. The works of art run the gamut from serious to lighthearted and are created as an expression of the artist's own experience, in support of someone, in honor of a survivor, or in memoriam.  Learn more about ArtBra
