The Power of Community

Over the past several months, our donor community has shown a tremendous amount of support for our healthcare workers and emergency responders. As COVID-19 tightened its hold on our state, you stepped forward in countless ways to help us as we responded to an unprecedented health crisis. We are humbled by your generosity.

Donations of medical equipment and PPE that were in scarce supply helped ensure that our frontline had what they needed in order to provide safe, high-quality care. Support of our COVID-19 emergency funds helped offset unforeseen operational expenses and provided special initiatives to help staff coping with anxiety and caregiver fatigue. Signs of encouragement on front lawns across the state and notes posted to our virtual kudos board bolstered spirits while meal and snack donations filled stomachs and fed souls.

Each of these thoughtful gestures was a reminder to our staff that our community had their back and were with them through this difficult time. That is the power of community and for that you have our sincerest gratitude.
