Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital Visitor

UConn basketball star, Donovan Clingan, visited Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital to chat, sign autographs & shoot hoops. Families enjoyed meeting such an amazing and caring athlete. The visit brought smiles to our patients as they donned newly signed shirts and hung out in our Lauren Telesz/Smilow Teen Center.

Clingan’s visit is part of Dunkin’s Joy in Childhood Foundation’s kick off of National Iced Coffee Day festivities. On May 23, National Iced Coffee Day, $1 from every iced coffee sold at Dunkin nationwide will help fund programs to support hospitalized children and their families. At YNHCH, this means bringing music, art and therapy dogs to the bedside.

Patients, families and employees at YNHH and Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital were delighted by the visit and also enjoyed a variety of treats and snacks. Thank you for your partnership, AEFCU!
